| César Pesquera has shown his work in different festivals and international events such as LOOP Festival 2007, The 8th Rencontres internationales Paris/Berlin 2006 and 2004, , Art Futura 2006 and 2001, A/V Festival 2006, Resfest Spain, Optronica 2005, SONAR 2005, 2004 and 2001, Dotmov 2004, VIPER 2002, Observatori 2002 and 2003and Transmissions Festival 004. He has also shown his work in museums as AMOADA, the Austin Museum of Digital Art in Texas (USA), ZKM, Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie Karlsruhe (Germany), Centre Georges Pompidou (Paris, France), DA2 Museum Of Contemporary Art (Salamanca, Spain) and galleries as Resistor Galery (Toronto, Canada) or Lighthouse Gallery (Brighton, UK) Cesar Pesquera is currently working as a director of commercials and music videos. He has directed different campaigns for brands such as Sony-Playstation, MTV, Coca-Cola, Kia, or PhotoEspaña and has worked with agencies like McCann-Ericsson, Zapping, S.C.P.F*, Dimensión, Delvico-Red Cell o Bassat&Ogilvy . Also he is co-founder of Actop, a studio operating as an open structure and working on a wide range of media: Print, Animation, Motion Graphics, Live Visuals and new approaches to the moving image. His first short film Passer/8 has been shown in different festivals around the world and he is now preparing a new version of the project as an instalation. He has been often collaborating with the british collective D-Fuse in different projects. With D-Fuse César Pesquera performed on October 1st 2006 in collaboration with The London Simphony Orchestra for Steve Reich´s 70th Birthday concert at the Barbican Hall featuring live video mixed to Reich´s The Desert Music. Also he did, along with D-Fuse, an instalation for The British Film Institute in London He is also Associate Director of Rojo®Magazine and Art Director of Ruga®Magazine, a DVD magazine.
